Long time Member, Webmaster, Former MC, and general Fixture of the San Gabriel Valley User Group. Tom Emerson passed away this last weekend, many of us only learned of it at the last General Meeting on March 10th. Words do little to say how much he will be missed. I know that SGVLUG would not still exist if it was not for Tom.
Here is a link to a thread on facebook with people remembering Tom.
You Will be missed.

Note that while technically this would only be "somebody", and in theory could actually be "anybody", often, in practice, it ends up being "nobody"... |

If you have a PGP/GPG "key" that hasn't had a new signature on it for the last year or so, time to dust it off and attend a meeting. If you don't have a key, (and don't know why you might want one) head on over to the the Gnu Privacy Guard FAQ page for some reasons why it's a good thing to have. |

The SGVLUG general discussion list
You can join by going to the SGVLUG e-mail sign-up page
In mid-2005, we switched to a different mailing list manager. As a result, we now maintain an archive
of all messages posted to the list. If you are concerned about
the possibility that your e-mail address might become "harvested"
because it is on a web page, see this item in the FAQs about " how to avoid having your e-mail archived"
