The time is actually 1:00, not 7:00.

mea culpa!

I had an "article" all set up with the info, but never "released" it as
published (and what's worse, since I'm an editor, when I'm logged into
the site it shows ALL articles, ones like this just have the word
"unpublished" next to the title, which is too easy to miss...) I've put
it on the front page now...

but in my defense, there IS another page that has this info -- I suppose
I should add another link to get to this page a little easier, but here
it is:

http://www.sgvlug.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=section&id=4&Itemid=27

Actually, I did respond with an update that said:

but when Greg responded, he didn't notice the unusual time either, so
the "invite time" went back to 7:00 pm.

In any case, there is some insane irony involved in sending a microsoft
outlook "meeting invite" to a linux user group -- I'm intrigued by the
fact that it "worked" in some fashion. Looking at the actual message in
thunderbird ("view source"), I see that it has a vCalendar attachment
(which further translated some links that you copied from the website to
things like this:

file:///C:/=Documents%20and%20Settings/ParkerMB/mailman/listinfo/dev-sig

)
