Hmmm... Some good ideas there too -- as I was driving in I was
re-thinking whether "consumers" should be derived from "container" or if
it should be "the other way around" -- a container is just that -- a
place to hold some "resource" -- and other objects, movable or
otherwise, would have one-or-more "containers" of resources associated
with them. In this view, a "consumer" maintains a "container" for each
resource he's interested in.
This is probably just a parallel view of the way I'm thinking, which is
how & why I tend to get hung up on details here... (too many ways to
make things work...)
Now, before I go too much further, I decided to be nice to Michael (and
possibly the rest of you) by setting up a sourceforge "project" for this
"discussion" -- it can be found here:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/yatskit/
This is the first time I've tried to "manage" a sourceforge project (or
anything similar, for that matter...) so bear with me as I set things
up. As a way of moving this discussion to that page, I've copied the
original and Claude's reply to the "open discussion" forum under "where
this all started"
