Ok, I did this once the problem is that how it is handled has changed
a couple of times. The other problem is that XEN wants to put the xen
console on the first com port.

What do you need the domU machine to do with the serial port if it is
hvm there is little chance of it working, unless you have a
motherboard with iommu and you can give the whole pci device to the
hvm domain. If it is para-visualized you have some luck.
